Overview

Based in the firm’s Brussels office, Sari advises clients on all facets of European and Belgian competition law, including merger control, cartel practices, abuse of dominance and state aid.

She has acted in cases in a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, telecom and FMCG. Sari assists global corporations in relation to international transactions and complex antitrust investigations by the European Commission and national competition authorities.

Sari’s expertise further involves general European Union law, including the law of the internal market.

Professional experience

Sari is an Associate in the global competition practice and a member of the Brussels Bar since October 2019. Before joining Linklaters, Sari did an internship at the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission.

Education and qualifications

Sari holds an LL.M degree in European Competition Law and Regulation from the University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) as well as a Master of Laws from Ghent University (Belgium). During her law studies in Ghent, Sari participated in an overseas Exchange Program to Santa Clara University (California).

Sari advises clients in Dutch, English and French.
