Sean’s practice focuses on corporate and international tax matters. He has extensive experience representing multi-national clients on a variety of tax transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, spin-offs and liquidations. He also has significant experience with the consolidated return regulations and section 382 issues. From 2003 to 2007, Sean worked in the Office of Associate Chief Counsel (Corporate) at the IRS, where he worked on published guidance, technical advice memoranda, private letter rulings and other matters concerning corporate tax transactions and issues. In addition, he has participated as a panelist in ABA programs addressing corporate taxation and the consolidated return regulations.
