Overview

Thibault is a Paris Tax & Investment Funds associate who advises on transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity, real estate tax, investment funds structuring, project finance and capital markets.

Work highlights:

Thibault has advised on the tax elements of major transactions, as well as on the fundraising of investment funds. These include advising:
 
  • Ardian on the €7,5 billion fundraising of its seventh generation of buyout fund, Ardian Buyout Fund VII
  • Ardian on its first open-ended/evergreen fund dedicated to the energy transition, ARDIAN Clean Energy Evergreen Fund (Article 9 fund under the EU’s SFDR), targeting €1 billion for its first investment cycle
  • Capza on the €700 million fundraising of CAPZA 5 Flex Equity, the fifth generation of Capza Flex Equity’s approach which offers flexible financing solutions combining majority or minority capital, convertible bonds and mezzanine
  • Permira in its capacity as sponsor in the context of the acquisition of Hana Group SAS (€250m). Hana Group SAS is headquarted in France and produces and sells Asian ready to go meals
  • 2IP in the acquisition of two last mile logistics portfolios comprising 17 modern assets with a total surface area of 100,000 m2 for more than €135 million
  • L'Oréal on their irrevocable offer to acquire 100% of the shares of Holding STRP SAS (Société des Thermes de la Roche Posay)
