Yelena is a Senior Counsel in the New York office and leads the Firm’s U.S. Real Estate practice. She advises clients on joint ventures and on the acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing and refinancing of commercial real estate, including hotels, retail space, industrial sites, office buildings, multifamily housing and data centers across the U.S. Yelena also advises on the real estate aspects of complex mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, infrastructure and energy projects and restructuring transactions, regularly assisting sponsors, investors and corporates with structuring and executing real estate heavy deals across asset classes.

Yelena is the Co Chair of the Linklaters Americas Women’s Network, a member of the New York Education Committee of 100 Women in Finance, and a member of the Women’s Committee of the Central Park Conservancy.
She is also actively involved in numerous mentoring and initiatives at the firm, fostering a supportive environment for her colleagues and mentees. Yelena was previously recognized as a Rising Star by the Armenian Bar Association and Super Lawyers.
Yelena holds a bachelor’s degree in International Jurisprudence from Armenian Open University and an LL.M. in Corporate, Banking, and Finance Law from Fordham University School of Law. She is fluent in Russian and Armenian.
