Experience

  • Advised the UK Government on construction aspects of the Sizewell C nuclear project, particularly focusing on the review and negotiation of the civil works alliance contract and direct agreements for all major equipment, construction and supply contracts.
  • Advised a Saudi Arabian developer on its overall procurement strategy for the world’s largest giga project, drafting a range of bespoke template contracts.
  • Advised a major offshore wind project developer following termination of the turbine supply and service and warranty agreements.
  • Advised a major offshore wind project developer on general contract administration of a turbine supply agreement, including the administration of various additional cost and extension of time claims.

Beyond the Office

Kirstin has taught contract and property law at universities in England and Australia. She also designed and taught a MA course in Construction Law for the University of New South Wales.

Education, Qualifications and Languages

Kirstin has a degree in Jurisprudence from Oxford University (St. Hilda’s College).
