Stefano is a managing associate in our global antitrust & foreign investment group, based in Brussels.
Stefano advises on all aspects of European and cross-jurisdictional competition law, with a particular emphasis on cartel investigations and multinational mergers.
He has solid experience in managing cartel cases, uncovering anti-competitive conducts, and ensuring compliance with competition laws. Stefano has also developed extensive experience in navigating complex multinational and national mergers, providing strategic advice to clients on merger control, foreign direct investment, and foreign subsidies regulation. He has also a strong track record in EU remedy measures.
His practice spans a diverse range of business sectors, including pharma, telecom, automotive, financial services, and oil & gas.
Stefano is also a strong advocate for the use of AI in the legal industry, promoting its potential to enhance efficiency and accuracy in legal practices.

- Vodafone: advising on the Italian merger control notification for the €8bn sale of its Italian business to Swisscom.
- TDR Capital and LeasePlan: advising on EU and worldwide antitrust and foreign direct investment notifications for the combination of LeasePlan, one of the world's leading vehicle leasing and fleet management companies, with ALD Automotive, Société Générale's car leasing division.
- Takeda: advising on EU and worldwide antitrust notifications of the pharmaceutical company’s acquisition of Shire plc for £46bn, the largest ever outbound M&A deal by a Japanese company.
- Euroclear: advising on the acquisition of the MFEX Group.
