This webinar deals with collective actions initiated on the basis of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) considerations. We will discuss the disparity between the US, the forerunner jurisdiction in this field, and the UK, which has known some significant developments recently, on the one hand, where ESG collective actions / group litigation are more common, and elsewhere, in particular Europe, where such actions remain scarce. We will see why and how this disparity is likely to fade in the near future and how companies should prepare for this.
