The past year has seen an unprecedented surge of enforcement efforts by the Hong Kong Competition Commission, who has proven itself to be an ambitious and increasingly sophisticated enforcer. 

In this review, we will reflect on this "carrot and stick" enforcement approach adopted by the Commission over the last year and look ahead to what we anticipate to be shaping the city's competition law landscape in 2023.
