Overview

Alex is a finance partner, based in London, who specialises in securitisation (RMBS, ABS and ABCP) and loan portfolio sales (including their financing). Alex is also experienced in the monetisation of non-standard asset classes and financial assets considered more difficult to securitise or include in repo arrangements.

In 2006, Alex spent time on secondment to a leading international securitisation financial institution.

Professional experience

Alex chaired the governing body of a large Hackney primary school experiencing difficulties and lead a turnaround programme. During his eight years a governor and five years as Chair, Alex saw the school rise from the bottom of Hackney’s exam results chart to being in the top 3. At the end of Alex’s second full term as governor, the school also commissioned an OFSTED-like inspection which came out with an ‘outstanding’ rating, marking a successful turnaround process.

Alex studied law at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge.
