Overview

Jérémy joined the Corporate and Finance group at Linklaters in 2015. He has gained experience in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, equity issues, incentive plans and on general advice on corporate and financial law matters.

In addition to his experience in corporate law, he has also worked on many matters in the field of public and administrative law as well as capital markets and banking.

Work highlights

Jérémy has advised on a wide range of major corporate transactions. These include advising: 

  • a Belgian energy company on its strategic reorganisation aimed at ring-fencing its regulated activities in Belgium;
  • a European leading independent HR and temporary employment agency, in the framework of its cross-border acquisition in Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland and Croatia;
  • a listed holding company in the framework of its investment in a family-owned manufacturer of personal hygiene products active in Europe, Latin America, USA and Russia;
  • a German multinational company in the framework of the carve-out of part of its business;
  • a Belgian multinational chemical company on the financing of its merger with a U.S.-listed company;
  • many of the largest Belgian companies on their corporate governance and the remuneration of their executives, regularly delivering advice at board level.

Education and qualifications

Jérémy holds a master’s degree in Law from the Université libre de Bruxelles, an LL.M in Private International Law from the Université libre de Bruxelles and an LL.M in Chinese Law from Peking University.

He works fluently in French, English and Dutch.
