Jurian is a Managing Associate in the Tax practice in the Linklaters’ Amsterdam office, and specialises in the domestic and the international tax aspects of private equity and M&A transactions and the (tax) structured financing of these transactions.

Work highlights

  • Advising Cerberus on the acquisition and financing of a SEK 11.5bn portfolio of loans across 13 European jurisdictions acquired from Intrum.
  • E.ON SE: advising on the acquisition of all shares in Equans Energy Solutions B.V. operating the Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage business in the Netherlands in an competitive auction process from Equans Netherlands N.V. under the laws of the Netherlands.
  • Cerberus Capital Management: advising on its divestment in global air cargo logistics provider Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) for EUR 1.3 billion (equivalent to approximately S$1.8 billion) from an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management.
  • I Squared Capital: advising on its €1.29bn acquisition of TIP Trailer Services.

Professional experience

Jurian studied law at the University of Amsterdam and University of Utrecht and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Dutch law and Dutch tax law as well as a Master’s degree in International and European tax law. He also gained a Master’s degree in Chinese civil and commercial law from Peking University.
