I also advise institutional investors (including pension funds and sovereign wealth funds) in respect of their investments across a range of asset classes, including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, secondaries and private credit. My aim is to be a trusted adviser, working alongside my clients to achieve successful outcomes and build valuable long-term partnerships."

Shivani is a managing associate in our investment funds practice in London and has a broad range of experience across asset classes, assisting a range of clients on both the fund structuring and investor side of the practice.

Shivani spent six months in 2020 on secondment supporting our investment funds office in Hong Kong, and six months in 2024 supporting our office in New York, assisting our clients in the US and Asia with both transactional and advisory matters.

Work highlights

Shivani's experience includes advising:

  • Aermont Capital: advising on the establishment of their fifth-generation opportunistic €3.78bn real estate fund.
  • iCapital: advising on the establishment of iCapital’s European fintech platform and the structuring and launch of its various fund products, which focuses on providing broader access to the private funds market across a variety of asset classes.
  • Prologis: advising on its €2.4bn European real estate joint venture with Norges Bank Investment Management.
  • CBRE Investment Management: advising on the establishment of a pan-Asian value add real estate fund and a pan-European fund.
  • LaSalle Investment Management: advising on the establishment of its flagship real estate fund-of-funds, LaSalle Global Navigator Fund.
  • Sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and corporations: advising on their investments in a range of private equity, debt and venture capital funds.
