Overview

Sophie is an Associate in the firm’s Paris office structured finance and securitisation practice. Before joining the firm, she worked one year in the Structured Finance team of an American law firm and in the Structured Finance and Capital Markets department of a “magic circle” law firm for nearly four years

Work highlights

Sophie has a strong expertise in trade receivables securitisations and whole business securitisations in the mobility sector. She also has extensive experience advising on the structuring and documentation of derivatives in the context of major project finance. She recently focused on sustainable finance deals, including transactions falling within the scope of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation.

  • Advising BNP Paribas as arranger and senior lender on the first securitisation of the vehicle fleet operated in France, Spain and Germany by the online rental platform Virtuo.
  • (Previous Experience) BPCE Home Loans 2021, 1,5 Bn€ securitisation including a covenant from the sellers to allocate the purchase price of the transferred home loans to finance new loans relating to energy efficient buildings.
  • (Previous Experience) Advising Lisea and its shareholders on the refinancing of its 2,185Bn€ commercial debt and the restructuring of its hedging strategy. 

Education and qualifications

Sophie holds a Degree in Banking and Financial Law and a Degree in Business Law from the University Paris II Panthéon-Assas.

She speaks French and English.
