Experience 

Jeremy is the Global Head of our Corporate Division, which includes our corporate, antitrust, funds and employment practices. He is a corporate lawyer and his main areas of practice include general corporate advisory work, M&A (public and private), joint ventures, and primary and secondary securities offerings.

He is the senior relationship partner for numerous clients across a diverse range of sectors, including BP, Lloyds Banking Group, United Technologies Corporation, Novartis, Greene King and Dubai World. Currently based in our London office, Jeremy has spent significant periods working in our Hong Kong, New York and Tokyo offices.

Jeremy has worked on a variety of high profile domestic and international mergers, acquisitions and fundraisings, involving both listed and unlisted corporations, many of which have been transformational for the clients. He led the Linklaters team advising Lloyds Banking Group plc on its acquisition of HBOS, its subsequent possible participation in the Government Asset Protection Scheme (GAPS) and the resulting major and innovative fundraising. Other examples include the acquisition of P&O by Dubai Ports and the acquisition of Chubb and Kidde by United Technologies Corporation. A number of the transactions which he has led have involved not only the need to deliver sound legal and commercial advice but to do so against a backdrop of intense media, shareholder and political scrutiny.
