Overview
Alex is part of the firm’s financial sponsors practice and is based in London. He advises private equity houses and other financial sponsors on public and private M&A, joint ventures and portfolio company matters, with a focus on sponsor backed P2Ps. He has experience across several asset classes, including infrastructure, green energy and real estate.
Alex regularly works on complex cross-border transactions and has spent time on secondment in the Singapore office.

- TDR Capital on various matters including the £1.9bn recommended cash acquisition of BCA Marketplace plc and the $5bn sale of Modulaire to Brookfield Business Partners and Constellation Automotive, a TDR portfolio company, on its £325m recommended cash acquisition of Marshall Motor Holdings plc
- TDR Capital and I Squared Capital on their joint EUR 1.26bn competing offer for Applus Services S.A.
- Ardian Infrastructure on its $575m acquisition of Verne Global
- GIC and Greystar on the acquisition of Student Roost, the UK’s third largest purpose-built student accommodation provider
- Modulaire and Brookfield on the acquisition of Mobile Mini UK
- Nestlé S.A. on various matters including the CHF10bn disposal of Galderma to a consortium led by EQT, and in relation to Nestlé’s interests in Froneri and IVC Evidensia
