Overview

Aya is an associate in Linklaters’ capital markets practice in the New York office. She has experience advising a range of issuers and underwriters on both domestic and international equity and debt securities. Aya has advised on work across various industries and asset classes with focuses including traditional financial assets, auto loans, and cryptocurrencies. She also advises on securitization and other asset-backed financing facilities.

Aya completed a six-month secondment at Bank of America advising on a variety of equity and debt transactions.

Aya has advised on a wide variety of deals, including:
  • Volkswagen Group: Advised on a 50-50 joint venture with Rivian Automotive for electric vehicle software and electronics, and up to USD 5.8 billion planned investment by 2027. 
  • National Grid: Advised the issuer on issuances on its shelf program and annual reporting.
  • Swedbank: Advised on its MTN program and 144A debt securities.
  • Leading international banks across North America, South America, Europe and Asia: Advised on various Rule 144A and Regulation S debt offerings and SEC filings.
  • Leading auto finance company: Advised on its issuance of auto loan and auto lease asset backed securities in multiple bilateral and syndicated amortizing and revolving facilities.
