Francisca is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations (LAI) Department, in the Lisbon office.
Her recent practice centres on litigation & arbitration in national and cross-border dispute resolution matters, both in the pre-litigation and litigation phases. She advises on a wide range of disputes involving Corporate and Commercial Law, Competition Law, Intellectual Property Law and Contract Law.
Francisca acts for national and international clients – including corporate clients, financial institutions and auditors – across diverse sectors such as finance, pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
Francisca joined the Lisbon office of Linklaters as a Junior Associate in 2023, following a summer internship with the Lisbon Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations (LAI) Department in 2022. During her two-year rotation traineeship, she gained experience working in the Finance, Corporate and LAI Departments. In 2025, she became an Associate in the Lisbon LAI Department.
Prior to joining Linklaters, Francisca completed a summer internship at the local law firm Sérvulo & Associados in 2022, where she worked in the Litigation Department. She also did a summer internship at Sousa Ferro & Associados in 2021, focused on competition law.
Francisca holds a Law Degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon (FDUL) (2023) and a Postgraduate Degree in Corporate Finance from the same institution (2022-2023).
During her studies, she was an Economics tutor at FDUL and played an active role in the legal production department of the student association. She also co-founded FDUL’s Finance and Financial Literacy Centre, serving as treasurer and helping to promote financial education initiatives.
She is a fully qualified Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2025.
Francisca speaks Portuguese and English.
Francisca authored the article “Exploitation of prostitution: a victimless crime? Commentary on the ruling no. 72/2021, from the Portuguese Constitutional Court,” published in E-Publica – Public Law Journal in 2023.
