Overview
Sara joined the litigation, arbitration and investigations department of the Brussels office in 2023 as a junior associate.
During her studies, she developed strong research and drafting skills that she is currently putting into practice in a variety of files. She mainly handles insolvency proceedings, tort disputes and internal investigations.
Sara also has a strong interest in consumer disputes, EU Competition law and Intellectual Property.
Work highlights
- Representing financial institutions and corporate creditors in the bankruptcy and judicial reorganisation proceedings of their debtors, including the newly established private judicial reorganisation proceedings
- Advising and assisting creditors in the context of the attachment of their debtors' assets
- Representing a large corporation in a complex, multi-party construction dispute
Beyond the Office
Sara holds a Masters of Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She completed a semester at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in the framework of her Masters degree.
Sara also obtained two undergraduate degrees, in EU law (from the University of Maastricht) and Belgian law (from the Université Libre de Bruxelles).
Sara is perfectly fluent in French, Italian and English and has reached an advanced level in Dutch.
