At the FT Innovative Lawyers Awards Europe 2026, our AI Lawyer cohort won the training and change management category, for their brilliant work upskilling our lawyers and spearheading adoption across our firm.
We launched the AI Lawyers in November 2025 with a 20-strong team and over the last year we’ve grown to 30 lawyers. They work in the same practice groups where they were fee-earning lawyers, using their specific legal knowledge and the relationships they’ve built to develop and deploy the most effective AI use cases.
Sarah Barnard, our director of AI delivery, explains what makes our cohort of AI lawyers different, the role they play embedding AI in our global practice groups, the skills they use and develop, and what that ultimately means for our clients.
