Welcome to our Winter edition of DC Agenda. And what a full edition it is; enormous changes lie ahead for DC pension providers to navigate over the next few years, and already all the signals are that these changes will generate a great deal of innovation within the industry.

For now, all eyes remain on the Pension Schemes Bill as it makes its passage through Parliament, of course, and we provide an update on progress. We also summarise the new consultation on retirement CDC schemes and update on the progress towards “targeted support” becoming available in the financial advice arena. 

As all these various initiatives begin slowly to crystallise into actual legislation and guidance, providers will be keen to start crystallising their responses too.
