Alessandro (Alex) Nolet specialises in banking, finance and restructuring transactions for banks, financial institutions, private equity funds and corporates across Europe and Asia. He has significant experience across those two regions, leading complex leveraged finance transactions and advising on a wide range of debt instruments, including unitranches, TLBs, high yield bonds, margin loans, NAV financings and related derivatives. Experience
- Advised the lead structuring banks on the financing of the AU$24 billion acquisition by Blackstone and the buyer consortium formed with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) of AirTrunk, a leading Asia Pacific data centres platform
- Advising the mandated lead arrangers on A$295m term and US$25m revolving facilities supporting TPG-backed Hasfarm’s acquisition and take-private (by way of a scheme of arrangement) of Lynch Group.
- Advising the arrangers on a €180m Italian law-governed senior secured facilities agreement financing a vehicle controlled by PX3 for the acquisition of BV Tech and refinancing of existing group debt.
- Advising the lenders on a €325m bridge-to-bond and backstop financing supporting the acquisition by doValue of Coeo, an AI-led receivables management company, and providing resources to refinance existing senior term and revolving facilities.
- Advised the lenders on the financing of the acquisition by TPG-owned Altimetrik of SLK Software, a Bengaluru-based technology company known for AI, intelligent automation and analytics
- Advised the arrangers and lenders on the AU$580 million syndicated term and revolving debt financing for the private acquisition of Vet Partners, a leading Australian and global veterinary clinics group
- Advised a global investment bank on the US$150m holdco loan for the acquisition of AIMS Data Centre Holding in Malaysia by Digital Bridge
- Advised ANZ, DBS and a multinational bank on the US$957m senior financing for the acquisition of Interrplex by Blackstone
- Advised a multinational bank on the HK$1.85bn dividend recap financing for HK Broadband Network, a portfolio company of TPG and MBK Partners
- Advised Ares on the US$287m unitranche financing for a minority investment by Search Light Capital in the Synergy Group
- Advised CPPIB and Nomura on the US$500m unitranche financing for the acquisition of SPi Global by BPEA
- Advised a multinational bank in connection with an AU$150m net asset value financing in favour of a top tier Australian superannuation fund
