Linklaters appoints Matthew Keogh as Global Practice Head of Investment Funds

Linklaters has announced the appointment of Matthew Keogh, Investment Funds Partner in the firm’s London office, as Global Practice Head of Investment Funds. Matthew’s appointment was with effect from 18 November 2025. 

Matthew succeeds Silke Bernard who completed her four-year term last month. Silke will continue to lead Linklaters’ market leading Luxembourg funds practice. 

Matthew has more than two decades experience advising leading sponsors and institutional investors on structuring and management of private credit, real estate, infrastructure and private equity funds. Matthew has also helped pioneer the European private funds market’s focus on private wealth, helping to build both the leading intermediary businesses in Europe as well as acting for multiple sponsors raising semi liquid side by side funds.
