Linklaters advises arrangers and underwriters on the financing for CVC’s acquisition of Multiversity

Linklaters has advised BofA, Deutsche Bank, UniCredit, BNPP, CACIB and Intesa Sanpaolo as mandated lead arrangers and underwriters on the financing for CVC Capital Partners' acquisition of the remaining stake in the Multiversity Group. The financing comprises a €765 million senior secured notes issue and a €100 million multicurrency RCF.

Headquartered in Italy, the Multiversity Group contains both the Pegaso Telematic University and Mercatorum University – combined, the largest online university in Italy with more than 70 exam centres catering for roughly 80,000 students, all served through a proprietary digital platform.

The Linklaters team was led by Banking partners Alexander Naidenov and Chris Medley together with managing associates Rohan Saha, Diego Esposito and David Adler.
