Linklaters Advises Banks on Pan American Energy Argentine Branch $375 Million Bond Issuance

Linklaters advised the banks on the Pan American Energy, S.L. Argentine Branch offering of $375 million 7.750% Senior Notes due 2037. The offering was conducted as a private placement in the United States under Rule 144A and an offshore offering in reliance on Regulation S.

Pan American Energy is the largest privately held oil and gas producer and proved reserves holder of Argentina with diversified operations across Latin America, including upstream operations in Mexico and Bolivia.

Spanning the New York, São Paulo, and Madrid offices, the Linklaters deal team was led by Partners Matthew Poulter and Emilio Minvielle and Counsel Marcelo Arellano, alongside Foreign Attorney Francisco Algorta.

The team also included Tax support from Partner Gabriel Grossman in New York and Capital Markets support from Partners Jorge Alegre and Pablo Medina and Associate Jorge Suarez in Madrid.
