Linklaters launches Diversity Faculty – new client offering combining legal and business advice

Linklaters has launched its Diversity Faculty, a unique client offering that combines legal advice with strategic business guidance on Diversity and Inclusion issues. The service is designed to help clients manage the often-delicate balance between legal, regulatory and governance issues and long-term business reputation.

The Diversity Faculty brings together expertise from the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion team with legal advice from Linklaters’ market-leading lawyers. Working with the Faculty will allow clients to develop their employee brand values and proposition on a legal and practical basis.

Laurie Ollivent, Practice Development Lawyer at Linklaters, explained: “The Diversity Faculty will provide clients with the full spectrum of guidance on Diversity and Inclusion issues, from understanding legal and regulatory frameworks through to the practical implementation of plans and policies.”
Simon Kerr-Davis, Counsel in Linklaters Employment and Incentives practice said: “Increasingly clients are asking us to help map their Diversity and Inclusion practices onto a robust legal framework. The Diversity Faculty institutionalises that work into a single client offer.”
Daniel Danso, Linklaters’ Global Diversity Manager commented: “Now more than ever, companies understand, at board level, the importance of making Diversity and Inclusion a cornerstone of their business strategy. The difficulty in achieving that in practical terms has led to an increasing demand for practical advice and hands-on support that delivers Diversity and Inclusion objectives and provides legal certainty for businesses.”
