Before joining the New York office, Mark worked in the banking group in London, where he advised banks and corporates on complex financings, bank prudential regulation and bespoke collateralization arrangements for insurers and pension funds. Mark has also worked in the capital markets group in the firm’s London and Moscow offices.
Mark is a counsel in the banking group in the firm’s New York office. He is a member of the New York bar and admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales. He has a wide-ranging banking practice acting for leading financial institutions and a number of corporate borrowers operating across a variety of sectors and jurisdictions, with a particular focus on cross-border structured and asset-based financings.
Mark holds an MA (Jurisprudence) from Christ Church, University of Oxford, as well as an LLM (Laws) from University College London.
Before joining Linklaters, Mark qualified as a barrister in London and was awarded a Lord Denning Scholarship, Shelford Scholarship and Hardwicke Entrance Award by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London.
