Overview

Mark is a counsel in the banking group in the firm’s New York office. He is a member of the New York bar and admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales. He has a wide-ranging banking practice acting for leading financial institutions and a number of corporate borrowers operating across a variety of sectors and jurisdictions, with a particular focus on cross-border structured and asset-based financings.

Work Highlights

  • Sound Point Capital Management in connection with a US$600m trade receivables securitization facility with Centric Brands, Inc.
  • Mitie in connection with their U.S. private placement note issuances.
  • Sound Point Capital Management in connection with the amendment and restatement of Ferroglobe PLC’s US$150m trade receivables securitization program and the establishment of a fonds commun de titrisation securitisation vehicle under French law.
  • Advising an international group of secured lenders in connection with syndicated and bilateral facilities provided to Global Brands Group.
  • New Look on its £1.35 billion debt restructuring via a scheme of arrangement.
  • Morgan Stanley on a reorganization of its European lending business in preparation for Brexit.
  • Lloyds Banking Group on its implementation of the UK’s bank ringfencing regime (as required by the Financial Services (Banking Reform) Act 2013).
  • Corporate secondment to Bank of America to assist with a reorganization of its European businesses.
  • Secondment to the Group Corporate Treasury division of Lloyds Banking Group.
