The transition away from the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) and other IBORs was unlike any previous regulatory reform, it involved a considerable number of moving parts and was a significant technical challenge.

On the derivatives side the International Swaps and Derivatives Association Inc. (ISDA) drafted a number of documents to assist market participants in managing the transition. Linklaters has prepared a Guide to assist with an understanding of, and key considerations relating to, the ISDA 2020 IBOR Fallbacks Protocol (IBOR Fallbacks Protocol) and the Supplement to the 2006 ISDA Definitions (IBOR Fallbacks Supplement) which are some of the key documents ISDA prepared.

At over 120 pages the Guide is detailed but the examples and concepts are brought to life diagrammatically to ensure it is also user friendly.

Access to the guide is available on a subscription basis, contact us below for more information on how to subscribe.

I am interested in finding out more about accessing your ISDA Protocol and Supplement Guide.
