Linklaters advises the banks on SierraCol’s $650mn high yield and $150mn RCF financing

Linklaters has advised the underwriters on SierraCol’s high yield financing, with an aggregate principal amount of $650 million of Senior Notes issued. The bond proceeds funded a tender offer for part of the company’s existing high yield notes and a distribution to shareholders. 

Linklaters also advised the lenders on the amendment and extension of SierraCol’s $150 million RCF. 

SierraCol Energy is the largest independent E&P company in Colombia and is a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group.

The Linklaters high yield team was led by partner Alek Naidenov and included associates Dami Banire and Juan Diego Tibaduiza.
