Alexander’s experience is focused on advising large and middle market buyout funds, and privately and publicly owned companies, in a wide variety of domestic and cross-border transactions and corporate processes across several industry sectors including financial services, technology, healthcare, and consumer and automotive products. 

Prior to joining Linklaters, Alexander was a senior associate at Allens, Linklaters' alliance firm, in Sydney.

Work highlights
  • Hg alongside new and existing investors on new equity investment in Visma, valuing the business at US$21bn
  • A consortium consisting of TDR Capital and I Squared Capital on their €1.26bn competing takeover offer for Applus Services S.A., a Spanish industrial testing company.
  • Theramex (a portfolio company of Carlyle and PAI Partners) on its acquisition of certain rights and assets relating to the menopause therapy drugs Femoston and Duphaston from Viatris, Inc.
  • KKR on its proposed bid for Ramsay Health Care Limited.*
  • Pacific Equity Partners on: 
  • its proposed (ultimately withdrawn) bid for Everlight Radiology;*
  • the sale of Lifehealthcare to EBOS and related bolt-ons prior to sale; and*
  • the sale of AutoPacific Group to GUD Holdings and related bolt-ons prior to sale.*
  • Cerberus Capital on its acquisition of Westpac’s auto finance and strategic alliance businesses via its portfolio company, Angle Finance.*
