Overview

Laetitia specialises in advising national and international corporates and financial investors on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, co-operations and restructurings as well as general corporate law.

Work highlights
  • Carrier Global: Advising on the 12bn EUR acquisition of Viessmann Climate Solutions from Viessmann Family Holdings.
  • Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG): Advising on (i) the acquisition of Dantherm Holding A/S, a leading European supplier of heating, cooling, drying, ventilation and air purification technology and (ii) the acquisition of a majority stake in MTW Holding SpA ("Metalworks"), a group of Italian manufacturers of metal and plastic accessories.
  • Universal- Beteiligungs- und Servicegesellschaft mbH and UI Luxembourg Holding SARL: Advising on the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of European Fund Administration S.A. (renamed UI efa S.A.), a Luxembourg-based central management service provider regulated by the CSSF.
  • BayWa r.e.: Advising on the restructuring and divestment of the global solar components trading business (over 20 countries) as part of a bidding process.
  • Blackrock: Advising on (i) the establishment of a new investment structure in the renewable energy sector and (ii) its Global Renewable Power platform on the investment in the European high-power charging network company IONITY.
  • CloudHQ: Advising on, among other things, in the context of the construction of a data center complex in Offenbach.

Professional experience

Laetitia joined Linklaters in September 2020.

Prior to joining our German Corporate/M&A practice, she was an Associate in our Luxembourg office and also spent six months in our Capital Markets & Banking practice.

Education and qualifications

Laetitia Aria studied German and French law at the Universities of Metz and Dijon in France. She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Mainz. She is admitted to the French and Luxembourg Bars as a French lawyer ("Avocate").

She speaks German, English and French.
