Overview
Yi is an equity and debt capital markets specialist. In addition to advising Japanese clients on convertible and senior debt issuances, he has significant experience working on Hong Kong primary listings, secondary listings and Reg S and 144A offerings as well as SEC-registered offerings for issuers based in China and Southeast Asia as well as international investment banks, covering a wide sectors including TMT, consumer, FIG, pharmaceutical and biotech.
Yi is based in Tokyo and has spent over six years working in Hong Kong and Beijing. He speaks native Mandarin and fluent English and Japanese.
Education and qualifications
Yi graduated from Cornell Law School with a Juris Doctor degree, before which he graduated from Peking University with a Bachelor of Laws degree.
