Dr Kurt Dittrich appointed as the new head of the German Finance Division
Linklaters appointed Dr Kurt Dittrich as the new head of the Finance Division in Germany. In this renowned practice group, Linklaters concentrates its German expertise in the regulatory, banking, investment management, capital markets, real estate, restructuring and structured finance areas with regard to complex and innovative financing structures and financing transactions.
Mr Dittrich, who is 48 years old, has been a partner at Linklaters’ Frankfurt office since 2002 and has long been one of Germany’s leading figures in the fields of structured finance, derivatives and securitisations. He is an expert in structured capital market products focusing on true-sale securitisations, synthetic securitisations, structured covered bonds, derivatives and other financing products. Another key area of his advisory services is central counterparty clearing.
As the new head of the Finance Division, Dr Kurt Dittrich succeeds Andreas Steck, who took up office as Linklaters’ German Senior Partner on 1 May.
