Linklaters wins twice at the FT European Innovative Lawyers Awards Europe 2018

Linklaters is delighted to have been recognised for its contribution to innovation at last night’s FT European Innovative Lawyers Awards 2018.

The firm walked away with two awards for ‘Innovation in the business of law - data, knowledge and intelligence’ and ‘Innovation in legal expertise: enabling business growth’.

Under the Innovation in the business of law award, the firm was recognised for overhauling its use of data by aggregating and linking information held across the business. Applications built on top of this unified structure allow business support professionals and lawyers to manage, search and analyse the vast amounts of data the firm holds in order to gain deeper insights on clients and legal matters at a faster pace.

The Innovation in legal expertise award was presented for the work which the firm’s Competition practice undertook obtaining unconditional Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) approval for Just Eat’s acquisition of Hungryhouse.

Linklaters came second in the overall category of the Most Innovative Law Firm in Europe.
