UK – BEIS confirms no mandatory auditor reporting on European Single Electronic Format tagging

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has updated its policy paper on the effect of the European Single Electronic Format Regulation on the directors' sign-off of accounts of UK-incorporated issuers. The Regulation requires all EU-listed companies to publish their annual consolidated accounts in a machine-readable European Single Electronic Format (XHTML with iXBRL tagging).
