UK – Corporate transparency: implementing the ban on corporate directors

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy is consulting on how to implement rules to ban corporates from acting as company directors. The initiative is part of a wider "transparency and trust" package of reforms designed to tackle opaque corporate structures which can be used for illegal activities. Two separate but parallel consultations have been issued on the powers of the Registrar of Companies and on improvements to the financial information available on the register.
