UK – Government to proceed with corporate transparency reforms

The Government intends to proceed with many of its corporate transparency reform proposals, including introducing compulsory identity verification for directors. The proposals aim to increase the reliability of the data showing who is behind each company so that businesses have greater assurance when they are entering into transactions with other companies.
