Autumn proves to be interesting: many changes in the field of Employment & Incentives for Belgian employers were introduced and should be taken into consideration. The Belgian labour deal introduces a number of novelties in Belgian employment law focusing on work-life balance and improving the employment rate. The reintegration procedure for employees on long term absence has also significantly changed effective 1 October 2022 and the Anti-discrimination Law no longer excludes the past health condition of employees from its field of application.
