Global - New German Master Agreement for Financial Derivatives Transactions (DRV 2018) launched

On 5 September 2018, the Association of German Banks published a modernised version of the German Master Agreement for Financial Derivatives Transactions (DRV). This version (DRV 2018) complements the previous 1993-version which was only slightly amended in 2001 following the introduction of the Euro (DRV 1993/2001). Both versions can be used and remain covered by market netting opinions. It is now up to market participants to set the pace for the transition to the DRV 2018. Read more.
