FCA proposes changes to tagging requirements for annual financial statements

The Financial Conduct Authority is consulting on changes to the UK version of the Transparency Directive European Single Electronic Format Regulation (UKSEF) to allow issuers to use more up-to-date taxonomies to tag their financial statements. Issuers that use the Financial Reporting Council's UKSEF taxonomy will need to ensure they tag their financial statements using the most recent version if they file their annual financial reports after 29 April 2022.
