Linklaters represents banks on debut U.S.$600 million bond offering for Colombian exploration and production company

Linklaters advised the initial purchasers in connection with SierraCol Energy Andina, LLC’s debut bond offering of U.S.$600,000,000 6.000% Senior Notes due 2028 under Regulation S and Rule 144A under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933. In connection with the bond offering, SierraCol entered into a revolving credit facility (RCF) and certain letters of credit.

SierraCol is the largest independent oil exploration and production company in Colombia based on 2020 gross operated production.

The Linklaters bond deal team was led in London by partner Mark Hageman and in New York by counsel Alejandro Gordano alongside associates Emma Cano, Adriana Perez Cavazos, law clerk Justin Adamson and foreign attorney Mónica Pérez-Benuet. 

The RCF team was led in New York by partners Danelle Le Cren and Penelope Jensen and counsel Phil Lee, and in London by partner Pathik Gandhi and associates Danielle Wilson and Mona Abu Zalaf and trainees Joseph Stedman Jones and Louisa Pratt.
