Alex Woodward, Partner commented:

“2018 has seen a busy H1 for sponsor activity in Europe, so to have topped the league tables for both buyouts and exits in such an active market is testament to the quality and depth of our practice and reflects the trust our clients place in the team to deliver their highest profile and most complex transactions. While we expect there to be fewer sponsor-backed deals during the second half of 2018, our deep sector expertise, alongside our leading M&A and finance practices, means we are well placed to support clients on their most strategic investments and exits throughout Europe, particularly in complex, cross-border situations.”
