Overview
Qualified in Belgium, Francesca advises on all aspects of European and Belgian competition law, with particular experience in merger control, cartel investigations, IPR licensing and vertical/horizontal agreements. Francesca has significant experience in EU remedy cases. Her area of expertise includes the pharmaceutical industry and other regulated industries. She has represented clients before the European Commission, national competition authorities and national courts.

- Linde on its merger with Praxair
- McKesson/Celesio on a t 3-to-2 merger in pharmaceutical wholesaling in Belgium
- SABMiller on its combination with ABInBev
- Novartis on its transformational restructuring involving three strategic deals with GlaxoSmithKline
- Saint-Gobain on its acquisition of SIKA
- Johnson & Johnson on many acquisitions including its acquisition of Pfizer’s consumer healthcare business and its acquisition of the medical devices company Synthes

Francesca regularly organises seminars and high level training courses for clients.
Education and Qualifications
Francesca has studied law at the Free University of Brussels and holds an LL.M in European Law from the London School of Economics.
She speaks French, English and Italian.
