Overview
Joakim-Antoine joined Linklaters in 2011. He has been promoted to full -Equity Partner in 2021. He is the Head of the Tax practice in Luxembourg. He is a member of the Luxembourg bar.
Prior to joining Linklaters Luxembourg, Joakim-Antoine worked as an associate at another tax dedicated law firm in Luxembourg for nearly four years.
He specialises in tax consulting and international tax planning. His main area of activity is private equity, where he mainly deals with mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and joint ventures. He is also very active in transfer pricing issues and in the structuring of complex financial products. In addition to his fluency in English, his Spanish speaking skills and understanding of the Italian language make him a privileged person to go to for deals involving Southern Europe.

- Triton Fund V on the acquisition of a majority stake in Renk Aktiengesellschaft, a world leading global manufacturer of high-quality automatic transmissions, gear units, slide bearings, suspension systems, couplings and test systems. It has a particular focus on armored vehicles, defense and civil marine, energy production, plastics, oil & gas and others.
- Triton Fund V on the acquisition of HiQ International AB, a listed IT and management consulting entity focusing on high-tech solutions
- Triton Fund V on the acquisition of Stone TopCo GmbH, head company of the Schock Group and its subsidiaries, a leading manufacturer of premium quality quartz composite kitchen sinks
- Triton Funds III, IV, V, and TSM 1 over the course of several months for a major remodelling of their carry structures
- Kinetics in all stages of the pre-IPO restructuring of Arrival, a UK electric vehicle maker and dealt with all tax aspects linked to multiple major co-investors, which lead to a very successful business combination in the context of a SPAC transaction, listed on the NASDAQ.
- Various Funds managed by Cerberus to set-up 7 Luxembourg investment platforms under the form of Reserved Alternative Investment Funds (RAIFs).

Education and qualifications
Joakim-Antoine holds a Master’s degree in business and tax law as well as a postgraduate degree in tax law, both from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He further graduated from the international branch of the INSEEC Business School in Paris and from the Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management of Boston College, USA.
Joakim-Antoine was admitted to the bar of Luxembourg in 2008 and bar of Paris in 2011
