Overview
Shiori advises Japanese and international financial institutions on derivatives and structured finance transactions.
She has advised extensively on repackaging deals using the ISDA standard forms (e.g., ISDA Master Agreement and Credit Support Annex), including advice on the security clearing system and the enforceability of netting.
Shiori also has broad experience in advising various financial institutions on derivatives transactions related to benchmark reform and the transition from the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR).
Beyond the Office
Shiori studied law at Hokkaido University, Japan, and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Hokkaido University Graduate School of Law.
Shiori speaks English and Japanese.
Shiori is qualified in Japan and is a member of Daini Tokyo Bar Association.
