Ever greater regulatory scrutiny in the UK and at the European level is being directed at banks’ and sell side firms’ approaches to climate change and sustainable finance. These firms are facing an incoming wave of regulatory changes, with new legislation on sustainable finance in prospect alongside amendments to existing legislation such as MiFID II.
An immediate part of this regulatory push in the UK is PRA Supervisory Statement 3/19, which banks and large sell side firms need to take action
