Recent case law and upcoming developments in the VAT world
This session will focus on key takeaways derived from recent EU and Belgian case law concerning abuse and the concept of fixed establishment in VAT matters. It will also provide a brief overview of upcoming changes in several VAT areas, such as the exemption in the finance and insurance sector and “VAT in the digital area” (e.g. a single EU VAT registration, e-invoicing and digital VAT reporting).
