It has been over a decade since AIFMD was published in the Official Journal of the European Union in July 2011.
In November 2021 the European Commission proposed changes to the directive. Both the Council and Parliament have now published their positions on the proposals, and long awaited trilogue negotiations have commenced this month. In the webinar "Asset Management Spotlight: AIFMD II - The Direction of Travel" on 28 March at 10:00 GMT, we take stock of where we are and what the likely direction of travel is for AIFMD version 2.0.
