Given the current uncertainties in the economic and labour market outlooks arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tripartite Partners (being the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF)) and the NWC have recently issued further guidance to employers on retrenchment and wage cuts respectively.
