A new UK Long-Term Asset Fund?

The Financial Conduct Authority has published a consultation paper on proposals for a new UK authorised fund regime for investing in long-term assets like venture capital, private equity, private debt, real estate and infrastructure. The FCA’s aim is to ensure that investment in long-term illiquid assets is a viable option for investors with long-term investment horizons who understand the risks.
