SFC Issues Position Limit Conclusions with Follow-Up Questions

The SFC’s conclusion paper sets out that it will proceed with many of the proposals put forward in its April 2022 consultation. A limited further consultation has been issued which focuses on asset managers and unit trusts’ trustees compliance with the rules and the removal of additional position limits for Mini-HSI and Mini-HSCEI futures and options contracts.
